Kelly Sullivan Angles

A wife, mom, and neighbor, and a civic-minded business attorney personally invested in the long-term benefit of our community for our kids and future generations. Taking experience from both personal, professional and civic experience, I believe Prairie Village deserves leadership that listens and engages with its residents.

With over 20 years of experience as a trusted legal adviser to businesses small and large I’ve developed a strong ability to bring people together to achieve common goals, negotiate and find practical and, fair solutions — even when opinions differ. That’s exactly the experience and mindset I’ll bring to City Council: collaborative, thoughtful, and focused on what truly matters to residents.

When I’m not working or walking our three dogs (Gus, Gracie and, Glory), I’m spending time with my husband CHris and our three kids — Lauren at KU (Rock Chalk) Connor about to start at USMA West Point, and Declan finishing up high school.

Like you, I care deeply about our community, and I’m ready to serve it with integrity, respect, and common sense.

Why I Am Running

I’m running because I believe Prairie Village deserves thoughtful leadership that puts residents first. These are the issues I hear most from neighbors — and they’re the ones I’m ready to take on.

Transparency in City Government

• Promote clear and honest communication from city leaders

• Make city decisions and budgets easier for residents to access and understand

• Ensure residents are notified early and often about projects and policy changes

• Keep you informed on how your tax dollars are being used

Listening and Engaging with Residents

• Stay accessible and responsive to the residents who elect me in Ward 4 and all residents with input

• Attend neighborhood events and community meetings regularly

• Create more opportunities for public input on key issues

• Seeking out Ward 4 residents' input before decisions are made

• Allowing community feedback to shape city priorities

Reasonable and Responsible Spending

• Prioritize essential services that benefit Prairie Village residents

• Invest wisely in long-term improvements for our community

• Eliminate unnecessary or wasteful spending

• Ensure transparency and resident input on major projects

• Treat every tax dollar with the respect it deserves
